For long has been known, that anti-piracy organizations worldwide prosecutes due to the transfer of illegal content, mostly weak. Because they do not earn enough money with this, they have taken also countries for hostages. This time Ireland is on the coup, because Irish Internet access providers haven't censored internet access to web portals, that offer links to pirated content.

Music giant EMI Music has brought litigation against the Irish Government. It is charged, that by appropriate legislation, it should combat online piracy. It all actually started last October, when the music giant EMI Music, brought an action against an Internet service provider UPC. They asked him to immediately censor all those websites that offer links to pirated content.

Music giant EMI Music is losing, because Irish law does not allow protection of commercial interests of the music industry. Because of this, they are now suing Ireland and urging them to immediately adopt an anti-piracy law, that will allow access providers the censorship of the internet sites with pirated content. As a basis for initiating the process, the music giant EMI Music stated legislation of most European countries, that allow this kind of censorship.
