It is obvious that Google managed to find common ground with large publishing houses, such as Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, EMI, the global independent agency Merlin, and 1000's of other independent record labels, because of which the Android Market already offers more than 13 million different songs.
The music will be bought by individual songs or even full albums, the purchase will be possible via PC or via a mobile Android device (this service will be available later), bringing the music to the database of Google Music, by which it can be accessed virtually everywhere. At Google they also reported, that they are working on a new version of online player that is compatible with all browsers, including the Apple safari. Music services are for once only available in the U.S., but Google says that they will be soon available also on the global market.
